NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER THE PROMOTION. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THE PRIZE. MUST BE 18+ (OR 19+ IN NE & AL) LEGAL RESIDENT OF 50 STATES AND D.C. BY ENTERING, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES. VOID WHERE RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1) Eligibility: BP Lubricants USA Inc.’s Stay Tuned x Castrol® Giveaway Promotion 2026 (“Promotion”) is open to legal residents of 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older (or 19 for residents of NE & AL) at the time of entry (“Entrant”). Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of BP Lubricants USA Inc. (“Sponsor”), Tangelo Racing LLC, and any affiliated entity and/or any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production execution or distribution of the Promotion (collectively with Sponsor, the "Promotion Entities") and their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each such employee, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes the Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Full Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning the Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
2) Promotion Period: The Promotion begins at 12:00:01 AM Central Time (“CT”) on April 8, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 PM CT on April 22, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Instagram’s timestamp is the official timekeeper. For the alternative method of entry for the Promotion, all entries must be postmarked by April 22, 2026, and received by April 23, 2026.
3) How to Enter:
a) Instagram: During the Promotion Period:
  1. Follow both @CastrolUSA and @tangelo96 on Instagram.
  2. Like the applicable Promotion related post, dated April 8 2026 on @tangelo96.
  3. Comment on that post with the comment “CastrolxST”.
  4. Entrants who follow, like and comment pursuant to the instructions above, will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Promotion’s random drawing.
b) Alternative Means of Entry (“AMOE Entry”): To enter the Promotion without Instagram:
  1. Entrants must handprint their full name, street address, city, state and zip code, day and evening telephone numbers (including area codes), and e-mail address on a 3"x5" postcard/paper and mail in a #10 sealed envelope with proper postage affixed to: Stay Tuned x Castrol® Giveaway Promotion 2026, 1500 Valley road, Wayne NJ.
  2. Each AMOE Entry must be postmarked by 04/22/2026 and received by 04/23/2026.
  3. No mechanical reproductions permitted. Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost, late, postage due, mutilated, illegible, stolen or damaged mailing of any AMOE Entry.
  4. Upon receipt of the AMOE Entry, Entrant will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion’s random drawing.
Limit of one (1) Promotion entry per person, during the entire Promotion Period, regardless of the method of entry. Multiple entries received from any person, household or address will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, bots, commercial sweepers, or any automated means are void. Do not create multiple accounts. Once submitted, entries will not be acknowledged, deleted, canceled, or modified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void all entries of an Entrant who submits more than the one permitted entry, or who the Sponsor reasonably believes has attempted to tamper with, influence, or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper entry into the Promotion.
4) Winner Selection:
Sponsor will conduct a random drawing on or around April 9, 2026, from among all eligible entries received during the entire Promotion Period. The potential Prize winner will be notified by Instagram direct message on or about the day of the random drawing. Sponsor will direct message the potential Prize winner from @CastrolUSA or @tangelo96 after the Promotion Period and may ask for: full name, age, mailing address, email, and affirmation of compliance. The potential Prize winner must respond to the winner notification direct message seven (7) business days of time sent by Sponsor, or that potential Prize winner will forfeit their right to the Prize and the Prize may then be awarded to an alternate winner or go unawarded, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and time permitting. Odds of being named the Prize winner depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Sponsor shall not be responsible for and shall not be liable for false, incorrect, changed, incomplete or illegible contact information or for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant’s email or other account to receive messages or late, lost, damaged, intercepted, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the potential winner. Notification is deemed to have occurred immediately upon the sending of the winner notification a direct message on Instagram.
THE POTENTIAL WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY THE SPONSOR AND SPONSOR’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION.
5) Prize and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):
a) Number of Winners: One (1) Prize winner will be awarded for this Promotion.
b) Prize Description: The Prize includes (1) one (1) Stay Tuned x Castrol® “DON’T DRINK THE OIL” T-shirt, (2) Two (2) filters and (3) 15 quarts of Castrol® motor oil (collectively, the “Prize”).
c) Total ARV: $200 USD.
The Prize is not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash value. All federal, state and local taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions of the Prize, except Sponsor may substitute the Prize, or portion thereof, for one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No more than the stated number of the Prize will be awarded.
6) How to Claim the Prize: Potential winners must respond within 7 days or shorter of the DM or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. AMOE Entrants will be notified via the provided email address. If a potential winner is ineligible, fails to respond or complete verification, or prize/DM is undeliverable, Sponsor may select an alternate. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check on the potential Prize winner and reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify a Prize winner based on the results of such background check, if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that awarding the Prize to such Prize winner might reflect negatively on Sponsor. Factors that may result in disqualification as a winner, without limitation, any winner having been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, being delinquent on a government ordered payment, such as child support, spousal support, alimony, tax payments, etc., or any other legitimate reason in the sole discretion of Sponsor. If a potential Prize winner fails to return the required document within the required time period, or the prize notification is returned undeliverable, or in the event that a potential Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor may, but is not required to, select an alternate potential Prize winner, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Sponsor makes no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, regarding this Promotion or the merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose regarding the Prize. Prize winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prize. The Prize, if legitimately claimed, will be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen Prize or any Prize that is undeliverable or does not reach the winner because of an incorrect or changed address. Sponsor is not responsible for, and winners will not receive the difference, if any, between the actual value of a Prize at the time of award and the stated value in these Full Official Rules or in any Promotion-related correspondence or material.
7) Entry Conditions and Release: By entering, each Entrant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Promotion Entities, including but not limited to Sponsor, together with its parent companies, officers, directors, members, shareholding, employees, independent contractors, representative, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Entities”), from and against any and all claims, costs, injuries, losses, damages, demands, actions, expenses, and liability of any nature, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, loss or destruction, or death or personal injury, arising out of or relating to a participant's entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Promotion, acceptance or use or misuse of the Prize and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of an entry.
8) General Conditions: All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void all entries of an Entrant who submits more than the one permitted entry, or who the Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with, influence, or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper participation in this Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction or if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
9) Limitations of Liability: The Released Entities are not responsible for: (1) for late, lost, jumbled, garbled, misdirected, delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or inaccurate entries, game plays, Prize claims, email, mail, or other communications of any kind, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion or by any human error; (2) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (3) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (4) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (5) technical, network, mechanical, typographical, human or other error or problem which may occur in connection with the Promotion, including, but not limited to, errors or problems which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries or the prize claim, the announcement of the Prize, obtaining the Prize or any portion thereof or in any Promotion-related materials; or (6) any injury, damage or death to persons or damage, loss or destruction of property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant's participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of the Prize. If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the Entrant’s sole remedy is another entry or game play in the Promotion, provided that the Promotion has not been terminated.
10) Disputes/Governing Law: Entrants, agree that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, other than those concerning the administration of the Promotion or the determination of the Prize winner or for any disputes arising from the loss or injury from the participation in the Prize, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any disputes arising out of these Official Rules shall be submitted to final, binding arbitration conducted in the State of Texas under the Arbitration Rules and Procedures of the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services Inc., before a single, neutral arbitrator who is a former or retired Texas state or federal court judge with experience in entertainment matters who shall follow Texas law and the Federal Rules of Evidence and have no authority to award punitive damages. Either party may enforce a final arbitration award in any court of competent jurisdiction in the state of Texas, including an award of costs, fees and expenses incurred in enforcing the award. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Released Entities shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief (unless otherwise precluded by any other provision of these Official Rules) in the state and federal courts of the state of Texas. Any dispute or portion thereof, or any claim for a particular form of relief (not otherwise precluded by any other provision of these Official Rules), that may not be arbitrated pursuant to applicable state or federal law may be heard only in a court of competent jurisdiction in the state of Texas; (iii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of- pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering or participating in this Promotion, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iv) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out- of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant, Sponsor and Promotion Entities in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.
11) Advertising: Subject to applicable law, each Prize winner hereby expressly grants to Promotion Entities and their respective successors, assigns, sublicensees and designees, the irrevocable right to use and publish his/her name, social handles, likeness (photographic or simulated), voice, biography and place of residence for all purposes, including, without limitation, advertising, marketing, promotional and publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion (“Advertising”), in any and all media now or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, without any form of notice, permission or any amount or kind of compensation, except for the awarding of the Prize to the winner. All copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights in such Advertising shall be owned by Sponsor and/or its licensors, and each winning Entrant hereby disclaims and waives any claim of right to such Advertising. Such Advertising shall be solely under the control of Sponsor, Administrator and/or its respective licensors, and each winner hereby waives any claim of control over the Advertising content as well as any possible claims of misuse of such winning recipient’s name, likeness or voice under contract, tort or any other theory of law. Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any disruption in the Promotion, including, but not limited to, any cancellation or postponement. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures and other statements contained in any Promotion materials and the terms and conditions of these Full Official Rules, these Full Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.
12) Data Collection: By participating in this Promotion, each Entrant grants Sponsor a limited, non exclusive, royalty free license to use such Entrant’s Instagram handle and entry (comment or post) for Promotion administration and for Prize winner announcement (e.g., repost in Stories, Prize winner list), without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor does not claim ownership of such entry. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Each Entrant understands that such Entrant is providing their information to Sponsor and not to Instagram. By entering, each Entrant releases Instagram from all liability relating to this Promotion. Entrants agree that information collected from Entrants in connection with the Promotion shall be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.castrol.com/en_us/united-states/home/privacy-statement.html.
13) Winner Request: To request the name of the Prize winner, send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Winner Request, Stay Tuned x Castrol® Giveaway Promotion 2026, Bp Lubricants, At: Mallory Wegrecki 1500 Valley Road Wayne, NJ 07470 Requests will only be available after the end of the Promotion Period and after the verification is complete on or after April 23, 2026.
